Amos Daniel Wilson was born on 02/15/10 at 11:09am. He was only 34 weeks, so he’s smallish and has to chill out in the NICU for a while until he gets a little bigger and stronger. But, he’s doing well and hopefully will be home with us by the end of next week!! Rach is doing great and go to come home this afternoon. It’s a bummer to have to commute back and forth to see our baby, but it’s definitely better than it could be! Here’s one of the first clicks:

Welcome to the world, little man!

I was finally able to get another gallery up for you all! The last few weeks have been pretty intense and I haven’t been able to be nearly as productive as I had hoped. But, that’s life some times, right? Rach (my wife) got put on bed rest and we’re trying to make the best of it while we wait for the new baby to arrive. She’s doing alright, though being such an active person, she is getting a little stir-crazy having to sit on the couch so much.

So, that’s that for now! Enjoy the new gallery (wedding feature one)!

Photobooth Up and Ready!

So yeah…

I’ve been kinda busy…

I was finally able to get one of the new galleries finished and ready to view. This one features a taste of the photobooth madness that ensued over the summer at a few of the weddings I got to shoot. We’re setting up a mini-studio at events (like a wedding reception) where folks can get their pictures taken. I’ve found that it’s tricky getting pictures of wedding guests, but that’s a big part of the day, too. So, the photobooth idea fills in that gap, and boy is it ever filled. One of my favorite parts about going back and looking at the pictures from a wedding has become the photobooth piece. Sometimes I will laugh out loud at the craziness and creativity that seems to ooze from people’s pores when they have the chance to take as many pictures of themselves as they want. It’s super fun! I like this idea better than having one of those little, mall-style photobooths because it gives you a bit more freedom to move around and get crazy. Maybe it’s just me…

Anyway…

We’re now starting to offer this to folks officially as either a part of their wedding package or as a separate bonus for their reception. Here’s how it works:

** We’ll set up a mini-studio at your event, tear it down, and have an attendant on hand to make sure it’s working.

** You’ll get a hardcover guestbook with the pictures of your friends and family printed directly onto the pages.

** We’ll set up an online gallery where you, your friends, and family can download the images for FREE!

** We promise to be really nice.

Pricing depends on how long you’d like the booth to be up and running, and it starts as low as $300. Shoot us a quick email if you’re interested!

Hey everyone! I’m hoping to get the new galleries up and running on the website ASAP, but unfortunately, my school work has seriously been kicking my butt, and I’m hustling to get all of my work done. Who knew that the Hebrew language could be so difficult?

I’m excited about these new galleries, though, and hope to have them up and ready by Thanksgiving! Keep your eyes posted, and until then, please enjoy the aesthetically pleasing “Coming Soon” signs!

This is definitely worth taking a look at.

Follow this link: http://www.amazon.com/Uranium-Ore/dp/B000796XXM/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top

Scroll down to read some of the “reviews” that people have placed on Amazon for this “product”.

My fav:

“Picked this up for use in one of my kid’s ‘diversity’ projects in school (Great Success!), and stuck the leftovers in the cabinet next to the baking soda.

Ran out of toothpaste, and remembered how you’re supposed to be able to use baking soda to clean your teeth, so of course, I accidentally used this instead, and Wow! all I can say is, my teeth have never been cleaner! They sparkle, they tingle, and for some reason, they STAY clean now, no matter what. Highly recommended!

However, when I ran out of that fire-ant killer powder stuff, I figured I would try some for that too.

Big mistake!

Boy, it sure did not kill those ants!

Fortunately, those suckers get slower as they get bigger, so I have been able to use a shovel to take care of most of them, one at a time though, the sneaky devils.

And the darn trash man refuses to take them away..

I would have given this product 5 stars for the teeth and the project on embracing diversity, but I deducted one star because of the giant mutant ants.”
